Colloqium summary

We perceive our surroundings mainly with our eyes. This is creating the illusion in our brain that what we see is reality. In fact it is just the value we gave things in order to not be surprised everytime we see something. You never truly know whether the object you perceive really is the one you think it is.
Thoughts can be very complex and while communicating with other humans, especially speaking, is our way to transfer those thoughts. A thought is processed chemically in the human brain and gets transformed and transmitted physically over sound waves until it reaches the chemical stage again in the other person’s brain.
With this concept communication is the foundation of knowledge as otherwise everyone had to start from scratch. In universities you can see this especially, the professor communicates his knowledge with his voice and reaches several people’s brains at once.
