Hey, can you quickly go for your wallet, there might be a couple different bank notes in there. They have different colors, usually even different sizes and lots of different stuff painted on them. People gave this form of paper a universal value and so you can exchange it for anything you want. Eventually it is just some wood with ink printed on it but you walk next to a nice bar and want that good looking cold beer they offer and so you pull out one of those paper notes. As people gave this piece of paper a value you can give it to the barman and actually get something useful out of it. Later his boss will use the same form of universal trading unit to pay him for his work. With these papers the barman gets, he can also go to any place and exchange it for things he wants. It all works because people agreed on different looking papers having different amounts of trading units. It makes life a lot easier as everybody can use and accept it for a trade and so you do not have to find a cow for your neighbour’s fire wood.
Money is very complex though as there are many different currencies in different countries and people are even trading with its value. The value of a specific currency is obviously strongly connected to a country’s economy as all the trade within this country is eventually done by it. Money always created problems and is the most powerful instrument humans created. It runs the world by itself as everything is flowing around this trading unit people agreed on. You need it for everything you do and many people are extremely focused on it. Is it because they want to make a lot of profit or are that poor they barely survive, money is in almost everyone’s head at some point.
In fact, money is probably one of the worst things in our world and therefore the only way to gain real happiness is to forget it, how you do this is up to you and does not have to be for long. But you should have moments in your life where money does not matter you have something that makes you happy, friends, family, a passion and can smile, laugh and feel that you are alive. In the end it does not matter how much money you had in your life, all that matters is how much joy you created and felt.
